Lissa | Styled Boho & Wildflower Inspired Bridal Portraits

Lissa is a dear friend of mine who was married a year and a half ago in Okoboji, Iowa.  Over the summer she wanted another chance to wear that beautiful gown in a relaxed, styled, yet DIY setting.  This session was styled by the two of us to show other brides that a little DIY can go a long way for your bridal session without spending a pretty penny. We created a bright bouquet full of textured wild flowers native to Iowa and soaked in the beautiful evening light.  For Lissa’s wedding day, she and her mother picked wildflowers to create the bouquets themselves, which was a fun and meaningful addition to her bohemian-inspired styled look.

Creation is full of such unique beauty and plants that work great for so many purposes! Love this little bit of green added to the lace headpiece.

Why not add a scarf and some of your journalings to your bridal look?
